Which J1 Part Do You Need?
The most commonly replaced parts on the Nama J1 are the juice strainer, auger, and chamber. Here is a quick guide to what each part does so you can identify exactly what you need before ordering.
Juice Strainer ($30): The fine mesh screen that separates juice from pulp. If your juice is coming out with more pulp than usual or the strainer looks warped or clogged beyond cleaning, this is the part to replace.
Coarse Strainer ($30): Used when making nut milks or smoothies. Replace if you notice cracking, warping, or if it no longer fits snugly in the chamber.
Sorbet Strainer ($15): The attachment used for making frozen sorbets. If you have not used your sorbet strainer in a while, inspect it for cracks before your next use.
Auger ($60): The slow-turning screw that presses juice from your produce. The auger is built to last but can wear down over years of heavy daily use. If juice yield has dropped noticeably, the auger is worth inspecting.
Chamber ($49) / Chamber Set ($175): The housing that holds the auger and strainer during juicing. The Chamber Set includes all components and is the best option if multiple parts are showing wear at the same time.
Hopper ($25): The feed chute where produce enters the machine. Replace if cracked or if produce is slipping through gaps rather than feeding cleanly.
Juice and Pulp Container Set ($24): The pitchers that collect your juice and pulp during extraction. A good option if either container has cracked or stained beyond use.
Pulp Container ($12): Available separately if only the pulp container needs replacing.
Juice Cap ($10): The small cap that controls juice flow out of the chamber. Easy to lose during cleaning — one of the most common small part replacements.
