Written by Michael Johnson

Is the Namawell Affiliate Program accepting new signups? Not currently, but that may change in the future.

In the event Namawell (aka Nama) starts accepting new signups, let’s cover how their affiliate program works and what you could expect if allowed to join!

p.s. If you’re looking for a Nama Juicer discount code, use JOHNSONS for 10% off your entire order!

Key Takeaways

Here is what you should know before applying to the Namawell affiliate program.

  • The Namawell affiliate program is currently closed to new signups, but Nama has opened it before and may again.
  • Affiliates earn 10% commission on every sale made through their unique link or coupon code.
  • Your affiliate code also gives customers 10% off, making it genuinely useful to share.
  • Nama treats affiliates like partners. They know us by name and we meet regularly with their leadership team.
  • Paid ads, misleading domains, and incentivized purchases will get your account permanently banned.

We've Been in the Namawell Affiliate Program Since 2021

As a couple who has affiliated with brands like Nakano Knives, Four Sigmatic, Purple Carrot, and SunWarrior, we know a thing or two about what it takes to be a successful affiliate.

Yet the NamaWell affiliate program is quite different than anything we have experienced.

Nama is a small company. Their products are not mainstream and the company cares more about end users than any other brand we have seen in this space. Nama truly cares about their affiliates. We are known by name and meet often with the brand’s leadership team.

Nama specializes in juicers: affordable, easy-to-use, slow-press juicers that are actually really great. But they are even better at making people feel loved and cared about. Namawell affiliates are not just a number in their system.

Why We Wanted to Become Nama Affiliates

We have used Namawell products since 2021. We got the Nama Vitality 5800 Juicer (now called the Nama J1 Juicer) as a wedding present and absolutely love everything Nama stands for.

After using the juicer for a few months, we realized we wanted to associate ourselves with companies that actually care about their customers and affiliates. So we reached out to Nama asking if they were accepting new signups.

They said no.

We were quite disappointed, but the reason for their decline was not that we were not good enough. It was simply that they did not have an affiliate program at that time.

We are guessing they received a lot of questions from other social media influencers because it was less than a month later that they reached back out asking if we wanted to join their newly created program.

Of course we said YES!

Our Family Situation

At that time, we wanted to start a family but needed to raise about $100,000 for one attempt at having kids via IVF (in vitro fertilization).

Yes, we are lunatics and yes, we wanted kids more than anything!

Our situation is much different than others who have done IVF. Michael needed a surgery that cost $22,500 just to find out if he could have kids biologically because of a condition he was born with called Klinefelter Syndrome. If he could not have them biologically, we would need a donor, which cost between $1,000 and $3,500 per vial, and with IVF you typically need about 4 vials to start.

Sarah needed a procedure to remove a cyst near her uterus that cost $16,500. On top of that, she also has endometriosis, so we wanted to use the best doctors available. Those doctors work in downtown New York City and living in Manhattan while going through IVF treatments cost between $6,500 and $13,000 a month.

Knowing we needed a massive amount of money to start our family, we decided to cash out our 401k and Roth IRAs, totaling $40,000. After early withdrawal penalties, we ended up with around $32,000. We only needed about $75,000 more!

We Were Finally Accepted

Thankfully, we were accepted into the Namawell affiliate program one month after our initial request, and becoming a Nama affiliate has been life changing.

Not only were we able to earn enough to attempt to have kids, but we were lucky enough to get pregnant after only 2 rounds of IVF.

Our son Tyler was born in May 2023 and has been the greatest blessing to our lives. Update: Tyler recently went viral on TikTok. You can view his video here.

What's Their Affiliate Program Signup Process Like?

Here is an overview of the onboarding steps we received when accepted into their program:

  • Fill out the provided form to create an account with Nama.
  • Once your account is created and approved, you will receive a login link to access your affiliate dashboard, where you can view your affiliate link, discount code, sales data, commissions, and analytics.
  • Add your banking (ACH) information via the affiliate dashboard under Settings, then Payment Settings. Use the swift code field to enter your routing number.
  • Sign the contract sent via DocuSign as soon as possible so Nama can finalize your account on their end.
  • Submit your W9 and ACH banking information for payouts.
  • Review the key program guidelines included in your acceptance email.

After filling out the paperwork and sending along our bank information, it took about 2 weeks before we had full access to our affiliate dashboard, coupon codes, and link generator.

As for promoting, the general expectation is to share your discount code organically on social media. For example, we planned about one story per week and one post every two weeks on Instagram, always using the JOHNSONS discount code for our followers.

What Can Nama Affiliates Earn?

Each time you refer a new customer and they purchase a juicer or attachment using your affiliate link or coupon code, you earn a 10% commission. Your code also gives the customer 10% off, so it is a genuine win for both sides.

Here are some example monthly earnings based on volume:

  • 100 J2 juicers sold: $5,990/mo.
  • 100 C2 juicers/blenders sold: $7,900/mo.
  • 100 J2 sorbet attachments sold: $450/mo.

Sell more and you earn more. Sell less and you earn less. The best part is there is no cap on monthly earnings.

You can promote your links and codes through original content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, and your own branded website.

Don’t Try to Cheat the System

Michael reached out to Nama directly and asked if building custom websites to sell Nama products was allowed. It is not, for legal reasons.

For example, if you purchased a domain like namaj2.com and promoted their products there, customers might not be able to tell whether your site is legitimate. Nama even receives emails asking if certain third-party sites are real, which creates confusion and is not a good look for anyone involved. There are already scammy overseas Nama sites out there, so you do not want to add to that noise.

Save 10% on Nama Juicers

Use code JOHNSONS at checkout on namawell.com for 10% off your entire order. This is our personal affiliate code and it works on all Nama juicers, blenders, and accessories.

Special Nama Promotions and Discounts

At various times during the year, Nama holds promotions that are only available to affiliates. These can include discounts of up to $80 off the Nama J2 juicer or 20% off an entire purchase, which helps your audience save serious money.

These codes do not last year-round the way the standard 10% code does, so if you become an affiliate you will want to keep your audience engaged and alert them the moment these deals go live. Watch for them around Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year’s.

Avoid These When Promoting Nama Products

If you are accepted into their affiliate program, avoid black hat tactics entirely. In our opinion, it is far better to maintain a great long-term relationship with a brand and follow their rules than to make a quick buck and lose your account permanently.

When promoting their products, be as transparent as possible. Use the #Ad hashtag when posting. Also, when commenting on another affiliate’s posts, do not drop your own coupon code in their comments. They did the hard work to create that content, so let them get the credit.

Things that will get your account banned:

  • Building websites using misleading brand-adjacent domains (e.g., NamaJ2Juicer.com)
  • Adding a “buy now” button on your site that implies direct purchase but redirects to Nama’s website
  • Incentivizing purchases by offering buyers extra goods or perks for using your code
  • Running Facebook or Instagram ads, or boosting posts
  • Using Google Ads to appear in paid search results for Nama-related keywords

Closing Thoughts

Ultimately, if you are accepted, it will be a great experience as long as you follow the rules. If you are a people person who genuinely loves sharing what you know about juicers and healthy living, you will have no problem earning a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month.

Joining the Namawell affiliate program has been one of the best things to happen to our family and we love our relationship with them.
